I was a part-time college student renting a room in a house with four other women, my boyfriend was married, I was on medication for depression, and this entire situation amounted to a terrible time for me to bring a child into the world, in my opinion. I could barely take care of myself and didn’t have a supportive family, and I knew I wouldn’t be able to pay the medical bills that would come.

I’m glad a safe, legal abortion was an option for me and I want other women to always have that option open to them too.
